Phone Banking

“AzeriCard” Processing Center provides the distance service of Phone Banking to its clients. This service enables clients to perform the following operations without visiting the bank or contacting the Call Center:
card balance inquiry
card block (lost or stolen)
PIN unblock
“SMS Notification” enrollment
 
To start using “Phone Banking”, the cardholder needs to undergo identification via one-time SMS password or list of one-time passwords obtained from an ATM.
The numbers for the Phone Banking distance service are: 194; *2273; 5984697; 5984376.
The service operates as described below:
The client dials one of the numbers shown above and connects with IVR (Interactive Voice Response). Having listened to salutation, the client selects language to proceed (available languages are: Azerbaijani, Russian and English). Then the client can press 1 for Phone Banking, 2 for contacting the operator and 3 for merchants.
By pressing 1 the client reaches the interactive menu, where s/he can select one of the following operations:
card balance inquiry
card block (lost or stolen)
PIN unblock
“SMS Notification” enrollment
The following authentication methods are available for card identification:
Authentication through the one-time SMS password (the password is sent to the mobile phone in form of a 6-digit SMS message. This method is valid only for the SMS Notification service users)
Authentication through the password from the list of one-time passwords obtained from an ATM (such a list can be printed out via all ATMs serviced by AzeriCard. This authentication method can also be used for 3D Secure and Internet Banking registration)
 
Card Balance Inquiry
By choosing the “Card Balance Inquiry” option, the client enters the card number, then selects one of the possible authentication methods. The system will ask for a password depending on the selected method and the client will be notified on the available balance.
Card block (lost or stolen)
By choosing the “Card block” option, the client enters the card number, then selects one of the possible authentication methods. The system will ask for a password depending on the selected method and the client will be notified on successful completion of the operation.
PIN unblock
By choosing “PIN unblock” option, the client enters the card number, then selects one of the possible authentication methods. The system will ask for a password depending on the selected method and the client will be notified on successful completion of the operation.
SMS Notification enrollment
By choosing “SMS Notification enrollment” option, the client enters the card number, then selects one of the possible authentication methods. After successful authentication, the client is being forwarded to a submenu for choosing the enrollment type: 1) First-time subscription; 2) Change phone number. Any of these enrollment types will require the client to enter the phone number with country and mobile operator codes. Then the entered phone number is checked for validity, and if the number is valid, the client will be asked to confirm it by pressing #. After correct input of all requested parameters, the client will be notified on successful completion of the operation.
Note: If the card has already been enrolled to the service and the client selected the “First-time subscription” option, the system will provide the following information to the customer – “This card is already subscribed to SMS Notification service” and will return to the submenu for changing the subscribed number.
Attention: In case of incorrect input of any parameter, the system will give a warning message and provide instructions on further steps to continue with the operation.
